This qualification is appropriate for an apprentice tradesperson working in the rigging sector. Competencies covered may include work safely around power sources, services and assets, perform rigging (basic and intermediate), operate a truck mounted loading crane, perform advanced tilt slab erection, and operate personnel and materials hoists.
There is Basic, Intermediate and Advanced training assessment levels available for this course. This course ensures participants with the relevant competencies required to erect and install steel structures, dismantle structual steel and move plant and equipment using a range of rigging techniques, load distribution and safe work procedures required by relevant regulations and legislations.
